On the Construction of Political Moral Standard of the Leaders in a New Historical Period

Political morality is the code of conduct which politicians should abide by during a special period. Political morality has different contents in different periods. In the new historical period, the contents about leaders' political morality are "eight insistences and eight oppositions" that were proposed on the Sixth Plenary Session of the Fifteenth Representative Conference of the Party. They not only inherit the achievements on constructing the leaders' political morality, but also have been a new practice of constructing political morality. "Eight insistences and eight oppositions" are the basic political morality for the leaders nowadays and in the future. It is proposed that the construction of the political morality should be strengthened on the basis of moral education,the legal system,and the regulation system.
