秦半两钱初探

半两钱从战国时期开始出现,由秦国铸造,早期工艺原始,钱币上的文字古朴苍莽,钱体形状、大小不一。秦王朝建立后,中央统一铸币,铸造工艺改进,半两钱钱文规范,钱体规整,制作精好。秦朝后期由于社稷动荡,半两钱出现变小变轻的现象。汉承秦制,西汉早期也铸造过半两钱,但整体风格已无秦半两之霸气,钱体较薄,钱文笔划较平浅。

Analysis on Half-liang Money of Qin State and Qin Dynasty

Half the money began to appear in the period of Warring States,which was casted in Qin State,besause of original processes,it was simple and unsophisticated,without an uniform size.With the establishment of Qin Dynasty,the central government unified coinage,improved casting technology of the specification,half money,money body structured and making good.Because of the war in the later period of Qin Dynasty,half the money became smaller and lighter.Han Dynasty still followed the rules which formed in Qin Dynasty,in the early Western Han Dynasty,half the money was also casted,but the overall style had no Qin half hegemony,money size was thin,money paper was flat.
