Reconstruction of the Map of Class——From Marx, Lukacs to Jameson

Ever since the birth of the Marxist Class Theory,the social structures of countries all over the world have been changing with each passing day.In the developed capitalist society,the traditional ideology of working-class has become vague,and problems such as racialism and gender discrimination have arisen.Is it really out of date to talk about class politics? Based on the Marxist conception of class,this paper critically reviews the relevant works of G.Lukacs,the founder of Western Marxism as well as F.Jameson,the latest representative of Western Marxism,and argues that it is still practically significant now to profoundly comprehend the Class Theory of Marxism.
