论合作社的定义、价值与原则

合作社是劳动者为了维护自己的社会经济利益,按照合作社的特定原则和价值,通过自愿联合而建立起来的群众性经济组织。合作社的基本思想和价值可具体化为自助、民主、平等、公平和团结五个方面;同时,合作社社员信奉忠诚、公开、社会责任和关心他人的道德价值观。合作社原则经1995年9月国际合作社联盟成立100周年代表大会的进一步修订确立了自愿和开放的社员原则、社员民主管理原则、社员经济参与的原则、自主和自立的原则、教育、培训和信息的原则、合作社间的合作原则、关心社区原则等七项内容。

On Definition,Values and Principles of a Co-operative

A co-operative refers to a mass economic unit of labourers who have voluntarily joined together to safe- guard their common social and economic interests on the basis of the specific principles and values of the co-opera- tive.The principles which generally recognized and accepted by the world are determined by the International Co- operative Alliance on the basis of the principles formulated by the Rochdale Equitable Pioneer's Society.The main contents of these principles are as follows:Open and Voluntary Membership:Democratic Member Control;Education and Training;Economic Member Participation;Limited Interest on Capital;Cooperation among Co-operatives.The co-operative values are of vital importance to the co-operative movement.The basic values of the cooperative include Selfhelp values,Mutual help values,Democratic values,Solidarity values,Equality values,Openness values,So- cial responsibility values,Loyalty values,Purposeful values,etc.
