活畜交易中的牙人———基于甘肃省新添镇的调研

牙人在中国有着悠久的历史,是为买卖双方介绍交易、评定商品质量和价格的居间行商,在经济活动中的生产、交换等环节起着重要的协调和组织作用。文章通过系统的实地调研,对活畜交易市场中牙人的交易活动、生存状况、收益状况、工作技巧、从业经验和感情进行剖析,对牙人存在的社会学价值进行解读,认为其在熟人对手交易条件下能够显著提高农产品交易活动效率。并对牙人交易模式的经济学含义进行理论分析,探索其在信息不对称情况下对市场机制和价格形成的具体作用和影响,进而提出了改善经纪业在现代农产品市场交易中发挥作用的思路。

The Yaren in Livestock Trading: Based on the Researchin Xintian Town in Gansu Province

Yaren are Chinese traditional and specialized rural brokers in counterparty trade pattern who contribute to col- laborative processes that bring contracting parties together to establish communication, build connection, manage conflict, and create innovative ways to move forward. Their economic activities in the production and exchange play an important role in the coordination and organization. This paper initiated in-depth interviews with various local Yaren in Xintian Town in Gansu Province, Northwest of China, and analyzed middlemen＇s trading activity, living conditions, income status and expe- rienced intermediates specific ancient operational methods in bargaining and consultations. Authors aim to interpret socio- logical value of Yaren, considering that they can significantly improve the efficiency of agricultural trading activities under conditions of acquaintances opponents participating in business. This paper proposed economic implications of Yaren, ex- ploring the specific role and impact of its information asymmetry and the price formation mechanism of trading patterns un- der risk of information asymmetry and uncertainty, and then proposed to improve the brokerage industry＇s role in the modern agricultural market.
