美国高校教师绩效评价中的问题及启示

摘    要:教师绩效评价制度是高校提高教育质量的重要保障,也是了解教师工作状况、评价教师教学成果的主要手段,美国高校教师绩效评价制度中存在着教师对绩效评价的宗旨不理解、绩效评价主体遭到质疑、各绩效评价指标间存在失衡等问题。充分认识这些问题对我国建立和完善高校教师绩效评价制度具有一定的启示作用,

Abstract:Evaluation of teachers' performance not only ensures the improvement of the educational quality but also provides a good method to keep track of teachers' working conditions and their performance.However,quite a few problems exist in the performance evaluation system of American colleges and universities.First,most teachers fail to recognize the aim of performance evaluation.Secondly,legitimacy of the evaluation subject is in question.Thirdly,there is imbalance among the indexes for evaluation.And we can draw a lesson from these problems in establishing and improving the performance evaluation system in our institutions of higher learning.
