| 摘 要： | 英语和汉语都有丰富的谚语。英汉谚语体现了英汉民族对客观世界的认知和态度,记述了英汉两个民族的社会、历史和文化的发展过程。从英汉谚语中我们可以发现英汉两个民族文化之间既存在共性,也存在着个性。

| Abstract: | English and Chinese languages are rich in proverbs. The proverb displays the cognition and attitude to the physical world and records the society, history and culture of the users. By making the contrastive analysis of the commonalities and differences English and Chinese proverbs, the paper explores the cause on the basis of the metaphorical proverbs from the viewpoint of cognitive linguistics. |
