从天台智者“一念三千”到王昌龄“意境”说

在天台宗智者大师笔下,生灭示现之＂意＂与圆妙具足之＂境＂,两者非生非含、无前无后、互具无痕,其＂一念三千＂有关意念与境界的联合表述、浑融为一的本义推演,呈现出＂意境＂组合的雏形。天台智者的天才创意,开启了王昌龄等后学文士的＂意境＂思维法门,前者以佛理导入,后者在文意上定格,先后绘就了玄妙深绝、了无阻碍、不可思议的诗意图景。

From Master Zhi Zhe's "Three Thousand Realms in One Mind" to Wang Changling's Theory of "Yi Jing"

According to Master Zhi Zhe（also known as Zhi Yi,538-597） of the Tian Tai Buddhist Sect in ancient China,the subjective ＂mind＂ and the objective ＂realm＂ are two complementary,concurrent and harmonious aspects of the world,rather than that one precedes,bears or contains the other.His integration of the ＂mind＂ and the ＂realm＂,as well as his literal expatiation on the relationship between the two in his statement of ＂Three Thousand Realms in One Mind＂,makes it possible for the two characters to be collocated into a new term and to be extended to other fields.Later,enlightened by Master Zhi Zhe＇s statement,the famous Tang-dynasty poet Wang Changling（690-756） applies the term ＂Yi Jing＂（lit.mind＇s realm） to his literary theory.Thus the word ＂Yi Jing＂ is extended from Buddhist dogma to literature,in both of which it has presented the most profound,free and miraculous poetic pictures.
