新发现的吴敬梓《诗说》刍议

朝廷功令使程朱理学与八股科举互为表理桎梏人的思想。吴敬梓的《诗说》承顾炎武等重实际、重实证的学风,努力冲破以体悟人伦天理为指归的理学途径,转向以知性主体精神和具有实证特点的治学方法来治经,这是他追求人格独立、精神自由的一个组成部分。《诗说》中《女曰鸡鸣》、《简兮》等章则所表现的对功名富贵的人生态度、人格理想,可以与《儒林外史》互相发明、相得益彰。

My View of the Newly-discovered Poetics by Wu Jing-zi

All this is an expression of his p ursuit of moral integrity and spiritual freedom. His Poetics includes chapte rs like A Maident Named Crow and Simplicity, which are comparable to An Unofficial History of Scholars in their attitude towards fame and riches, human life and human dignity.
