| Abstract: | The translation of idioms from one language to another has been a knotty problem for the difficulties in bridging the gap between the two related cultures. The authors introduce several techniques in translating idioms between Chinese and English in order to seek equivalents or at least similar effect in expressing thoughts and feelings for the readers of target language to understand them better. |
