The Artistic Image of Urbanized China——A cultural structure of Jia Ping-wa's Happiness

Based on the relevant art theories of film and television such as the anthropology,narrative literature,performance,photography and linguistics,this paper gives a positive affirmation of the novel Happiness about its brave artistic experiment of the scenes,titles,dialogues,lens,monologues and other techniques of film and television in the revivification of local images in urbanized China.It points out that the core value of the novel lies in the fact that it records the social development of urbanized China through images,reproduction and portraying.
