| Abstract: | Pedestrian poems reflected apparently poets' leisurely and carefree moods but actually the poets' frustration and lack of being put in important positions.The beauty of pedestrian poems of MEI Yao chen,OU Yang xiu and SU Shi lay in the fact that they avoided earthly concerns and held themselves aloof from the vulgar though they were poor and frustrated in life.This was a style of aesthetics as well as a high level of life which greatly influenced poets of the Song Dynasty. |
