摘    要:西汉后期的元、成时期 ,僭越与践踏礼制的现象日益严重 ,刘歆争立古文经 ,是与哀帝欲加强皇权、振作有为的政治举措相呼应的。从《移让太常博士书》的思想指向可见 ,重建礼制正是他争立古文经的用意之所在 ;实际上 ,《左传》等古文经确有助于加强礼制建设。刘歆争立古文经的举动对于纠正今文经学在礼制建设上的缺失 ,在思想上起到了一定的冲击作用。

Abstract:Promotion of the rites played an important role in social stability in a feudal dictatorial state.Emperor Wu in Han dynasty attached great importance to this,but official classical studies failed to satisfy his need.Later during the period of emperor Yuan and emperor Cheng,arrogating and even damaging the rites became increasingly serious.It was against such background that Liu Xin advocated "making up for lost rites from the people", and strove to reestablish confucian classics. What he did came as a response to emperor Ai's political measures to strengthen imperial power for new achievement.His writing "For a New Minister of Rites" clearly shows his intention of reestablishing the rites,which classical works like Zuo Zhuan did help.Liu Xin's effort played its role impulsively in correcting mistaken practices in classical studies.
