Western Powers' Colonization of Tonga in Terms of the Cultural Invasion of Christianity

Tonga had had their local religious belief since ancient times,which however,was liquidated and replaced by western Christianity at the beginning of the 19th century.Christianity took place,laid foun-dations as the Tongan mainstream religion,and triggered a vast and swift change upon Tongan politics,eco-nomics,culture,education,and other social aspects.Up till today,Christianity has become an important part of modern Tongan life.
