Hegel's Theory of Ancient Greek Tragedy

Hegel thought that the ancient Greek tragedy was a glorious period.Referring to the tragedy of this period,he focused on three issues: the ancient Greek tragedy in the chorus,the conflict and the outcome.Chorus in ancient Greek tragedy played more and more important role,and developed with the development of ancient Greek tragedy.On the conflict,Hegel preferred for the third kind,that is the spiritual ethical conflict.On the outcome,Hegel firstly pointed out three outcomes that was not suitable for the ancient Greek tragedy,then he pointed out three suitable outcomes and explained them.
