| Abstract: | The relationship between language and culture as well as the differences between Chinese culture and western culture are discussed. The importance and necessity of cultural education in college English teaching are explained. It is believed that in order to improve cultural education in college English teaching, teachers should add some relative knowledge on culture in class, instruct students to read materials after class, offer cultural courses or show films on western culture . |
