| 摘 要： | 农村医疗保障制度是我国农村社会保障的重要内容，也是我国建设社会主义新农村、统筹城乡发展的重要战略举措。我国新型农村合作医疗制度不同于传统农村合作医疗体系，它是政府扶持、农民互助共济的大病统筹基金制度。我国试行新型农村合作医疗制度以来，取得了明显成效，但也暴露出许多问题。因此，要准确界定政府角色，明确政府的责任，以新型农村合作医疗为契机，改善农村医疗保障状况，从而进一步推动社会主义新农村建设。
