中国画的空白艺术

晚唐张彦远在《历代名画记》中提出了“白画”的名称，实际上这是从理论角度认识到了留白在画面中的独特作用和价值。中国画除笔、墨、色彩之外在画面上或多或少地留下一些空白，在中国画中称这些空白为“留白”。可以看出，绘画的空白早已被巧妙地运用于画面的组织结构中了，它是画家用笔用墨精心安排留的空白，是构成中国画形式美的重要因素，也是建立在中国美学基础之上的审美观念的产物。
