The Value Orientation of the Contemporary Western Government Reform

The contemporary Western government administrative reform is not only a way of ridding themselves of the crises and predicament but also a need for satisfying the social demands for a better government image.With the value orientation of market turns as the foundation,contemporary Western countries have carried out a series of administrative reforms.Though achievements have been obtained,some scholars have begun to criticize the value claim and the righteous foundation about the reforms.Through a study of their argument,the author of this paper bring up some new ideas on handling the relation between the government and the market in the process of reform.
