Research on Business English Translation Based on Adaptation Theory

With the deepening of integration of global economy and frequent international business exchanges in contemporary society, business English translation has become an important part in international business activities.Based on Verschueren＇s Adaptation Theory, this thesis explores translation strategies, methods and applications of business English in international business activities, dealing with the problem of information gap between source language and target language and embodies adaptation to communicative context and dynamics of adaptability. The ultimate goal is to meet the needs of both trade parties as far as possible and is beneficial to the international business communication.
