浅谈诗歌翻译中的意识形态和诗学形态

著名翻译学家安德烈·勒菲弗尔(André Lefevere)认为翻译不仅仅是语言层面上的活动,它更是译者对原作所进行的文化层面的改写。他提出,改写主要受到意识形态和诗学形态这两个因素的制约。其中意识形态指普遍接受的社会认知,诗学形态是语言层次的、普遍接受的对文学的预期形式。本文以莎士比亚十四行诗第十八首两个不同时期的译文为例,着重研究意识形态和诗学形态的变化对诗歌翻译的影响和制约。

On Ideology and Poetics in Poetry Translation

André Lefevere,a famous translation theorist,argues that translation is not only an activity in the language level,but also a rewriting of the original in the cultural level.He points out that rewriting is mainly influenced by ideology and poetics.Ideology is the generally accepted social cognition,and poetics is the generally accepted anticipation on literature form in language level.This thesis compares two editions of the translation of Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18 in order to study the influence of ideology and poetics in poetry translation.
