语言经济学的几个基本命题

语言经济学作为一门交叉学科虽然已经发展起来,但是一些基本理论问题还有待理清和深入研究,从而较好地促进语言经济学的发展和应用。从基本理论层次提出并论证的几个基本命题包括:(1)语言经济学是研究语言形成和演变及其对人们行为的影响,以及语言、语言行为和语言政策如何与人力资本、就业、工资、收入分配等相关的经济学分支学科。(2)作为人类的基本制度,语言是演化的,而文字主要是构建的。(3)语言的信息载体及传播工具功能与文化符号功能有分野的趋势,两者具有不同的演化路径或方向:作为前者,趋同和趋简;作为后者,呈现多元化或者力求保持多元化。(4)一种语言的通用程度是该语言的学习成本和相应母语国的经济文化影响力的函数。
