论大学生素质教育应把握的培养目标与思路

On the traing goals and thinking to be grasped in the course of the quality education for college students

This paper discusses these training goals for quality education for college students to grasp, which should be adapted to the times and social progress: College students should be imbued with high political quality, ideological quality, moral quality, intellectual quality, ability quality, skill quality, scientific and technological quality, physiological quality, psychological quality, healthy and graceful quality, and aesthetic quality. Also, It discusses these training steps toward such goals, which should be taken in a phased, structured, stepped and planned way: First year students should be trained to develop quality mentality or concept in particular. Second and third year students should be trained to develop all required qualities emphatically. The practical ability of fourth year students should be emphatically tested in practice both inside and outside the campus. Their comprehensive qualities should be improved at this stage. We should open up various training ways to provide college students with favorable conditions and a good atmosphere to strengthen their comprehensive qualities.
