教育滞后与英国垄断地位的丧失

英国是工业革命的发源地 ,曾垄断世界工业生产近百年。以往人们在研究其工业垄断地位丧失并逐渐走向衰落的原因时 ,多偏重政治、经济方面 ,对其落后的教育体制与经济发展的关系鲜有论及。实际上 ,英国在近代经济发展的过程中未能正确处理教育与经济的关系 ,教育发展严重滞后于经济发展 ,这是造成英国工业垄断地位丧失及国际地位日益下降的一个重要原因

The Relations Between the Lag of Education And the Lost of IndustrialL Monoply

England was the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and monopolized the industry in the world for nearly one hundred years.In the past ,scholars generally put the emphasis on politics and economy and very little discussed the relations between the edeucational system and the economic development when they studied the lost of its industrial monopoly and causes of its decline .This paper thinks that it is also one of the important causes that the educational development lagged seriously behind the economic development for the English government could not correctly handle the relations between education and economy in developing economy.
