| Abstract: | With their personal experience of the ups and downs of life and their strong sense of tragedy, ancient Chinese degraded scholars are the dominant group in the creation of poetry of sorrow and lament. Poetry of this kind forms the mainstream of ancient Chinese poetry, which is endowed with a very special kind of aesthetic value. |
