一般的语言规范要求语言"正确"。中文教科书语言的规范要求更严格,它应包括三个范畴、四个层次:正确、准确(语言范畴),贴切(语体范畴),适度(应用范畴)。"准确"是在"正确"基础上的更高的语言要求;"贴切"是指中文教科书语言必须符合自身的书面语语体特点;"适度"是指教科书语言在具体运用中要处理好简洁和明了、保守和创新、专业和普及之间的关系。
