唐代宦官养子制度探略

德宗前,宦官收养子嗣之风盛行。德宗时颁布诏令,在收养资格、养子数量等方面加以限制,但却给宦官收养子嗣以制度上的保证,宦官养子在德宗时成为一种制度。养子制度与宦官典掌禁军及出任监军在德宗时的制度化促成唐代后期宦官大权独揽,以致废立皇帝如同儿戏,对唐代后期的政治冲击剧烈。

AN INQUIRY INTO THE ADOPTION SYSTEM OF THE EUNUCH IN THE TANG DYNASTY

The eunuch' s adopting sons was prevalent before the ruling of Emperor De Zong in the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) .During his reign Empreor De Zong issued orders which put restrictions on the qualification of the adopter and the number of the adoptees,but served as a guarantee of the adoption.Thus,it became a system.This system, together with the systematization of the eunuch's controlling imperial guards,led to the eunuch's arrogating all power to himself, which had great impact on the politics in the late Tang Dynasty
