民主是社会主义制度的政治价值诉求，没有民主就没有社会主义。马克思主义中国化的进程，也可以理解为是中国共产党通过几十年的革命和改革一步步确立其民主政治的过程。而作为马克思主义与中国实际相结合的成果体现和形成于中国革命和建设实践的经验总结及理性升华的民主政治理论，又进一步推进着中国的民主进程不断地前进。本文从马克思主义中国化的背景人手，以民主政治理论作为研究对象，探讨在这一背景下的发展脉络和主题。

Democratic Theory in Terms of Localization of Marxism in China

Democracy is the socialist system of political value. There would be no socialism without democracy. Localization of Marxism in China can also be Understood as the process in which the Communist Party of China, through decades of revolution and reform, has established the democratic political system. The democratic political theory, established in the integration of Marxism with the practical Chinese situation, in the practices of China＇s revolution and construction, and in the theoretical devel- opment of China, promotes the democratic progress of the country. This article will explore the evolution of the process consider- ing localization of Marxism in China and the democratic political theory.
