论外语教学中文化导入的必要性

语言是文化不可分割的一部分，是文化的载体，文化则是语言的底座或环境，掌握一门语言实质上就是掌握该语言所承载的文化。因此我们可以说，学习语言就是学习文化，或者说学习语言的同时应该学习其代表的文化。本文从英汉词汇构词的特点、词的语义和词的语法作用三个方面泛谈两种文化的差异和类同。

On the Indispensability of Cultural Introduction in Foreign Language Teaching

A language is necessarily one part of a culture. It is a carrier.On the other hand, a culture is the base or setting of a language. The purpose of mastering a language is just trying to understand the relevant culture, so that is to say, learning a language is to learn a culture.The author discusses the difference befween the two cultures and similarity of the Chinese culture to the British or the West calture in three aspects: word-building characteristics, word semantics and word grammar.
