The year 1958 to 1960,was the period of the "Great Leap Forward" in the history of the New China. Under the condition of all walk of life undertaking the campaign of "Great Leap Forward", the campaign of wiping out illiteracy developed at the same time. With the development of the condition,the campaign had experienced a flexuous process from rise to fall. There was severe pomposity in this campaign, but at the same time,there were some valuable concrete methods.
