尼尔《夏山学校》“生命、自由与爱”的教育精神研究

摘    要:
随着现代教育越来越科学化,教育的目的也愈加功利,教育本身所应表达的对生命的热爱、对自由的追求和爱的施予逐渐丧失。而尼尔的《夏山学校》试图在教育中让学生充分体会到生命的重要与光辉、爱的温暖与温情,鼓励儿童自由自觉地发现自己的天性与天赋,发展自己的特长,以成就健康的人格和快乐的人生。这种崇尚"生命、自由与爱"的教育精神及其在教育实践中的体现,对反思现存教育问题具有重要意义。

Abstract:
As modem education has become more and more scientific and the purpose of education is more utilitarian, the following aspects are lost: love for life, pursuit of liberty and love-giving, which should be conveyed by education itself. But Neil's“Summerhill” tries to make students fully appreciate the importance and splendor of life as well as the warmth and affection of love in education, while encouraging children to discover their nature and gifts freely and consciously, then developing their own special skills so as to achieve healthy personality and happy life. Therefore, Nell's educational spirit “life, liberty and love” and its embodiment in educational practice has a significant meaning for reflecting modem educational issues.
