| 摘 要： | 中英征婚启事本身反映了一个社会的婚恋观,其中折射出中西方文化价值观念的差异。中文征婚启事中渗透了我国传统文化中群体本位、中庸节制的价值观;而英文征婚启事则表现出西方文化中个体本位、张扬个性和开放主动的价值观。这种差异的根源则在于自然环境、政治制度和传统文化等方面的影响。

| Abstract: | Lonely-heart advertisements can reflect varying views about marriage, and thus Chinese and English advertisements of such a kind can reveal the differences in values between the East and the West. Chinese lonely-heart advertisements embody the values of collectivist orientation, moderation and constraint, while English ones individualism, open-mindedness and initialire. Such differences spring from the distinct natural environments, political systems, and traditional cultures, etc. |
