语言是交际的工具,主要用来建立和维持人与人之间的关系。语言学习者除了要懂得语法和词语之外,更重要的是能够运用这种语言在某种场合得体地表达意义。课程设置中精读课的教学目的之一就是要培养学生的交际能力。本文在教学实践的基础上,阐述了语言交际能力的重要性,从研究教学对象、对两种行之有效的教学方法用于教学实践的介绍等方面探讨了如何在精读课中培养交际能力。

How to cultivate communicative competence in the teaching of English intensive reading course

Language is considered to be a communicative tool,whose main use is to buile up and maintain social relations between people,in whichever situation they find themselves.Learners,therefore,need to know the grammar and vocabulary of the language,but as importantly,they need to know how to use the language to express meaning appropriately in a context.One of the purposes of intensive reading course is to cultivate the learners'communicative competence.Based on English teaching practice,this paper presents a tentative study of the importance of communicative competence and the ways to cultivate the adult learners'ability in language communication.
