勤于家世版本梳理,致力建设性贡献:赵冈的红学研究——港台及海外学人的红学研究综论之五

赵冈的红学观点和思想集中体现在其红学代表著作《红楼梦新探》(增订本《红楼梦研究新编》)《红楼梦论集》之中。从这些研红著作中可见,赵冈的红学研究主要集中于曹雪芹家世生平以及版本考证两个方面。赵冈勤于搜集版本,详于比较文字,且时有新发现,其整理文献的系统性远胜于同期港台及海外红学学人,因而产生了较大的影响。

Devoted to the Biographical Edition Study,Made Outstandingly Constructive Contributions to Redology： ZHAO Gang＇s Study on A Dream of Red Mansions--The Fifth Summary of Redology by Contemporary Scholars of Hong Kong,Taiwan and Overseas

The criticism view and idea of A Dream of Red Mansions, studied by ZHAO Gang, particularly reflected in The New Exploration of A Dream of Red Mansions （a revised edition of The New Edition of the Study on A Dream of Red Mansions） and The Analects of A Dream of Red Mansions. From these books we could see that ZHAO Gang＇ s studies were mainly deals with two aspects, one was CAO Xueqin＇ s family extraction and life, and the other was the textual research on edition of A Dream of Red Mansions. ZHAO Gang dedicated himself to the collection of different editions, and the new conclusions were reached by comparison of the editions. The contribution of ZHAO Gang to document sorting out was much better than the cotemporary scholars in Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas, and it would be of great significance.
