20世纪60年代初期巴基斯坦从根本上改善巴中关系的原因探析

20世纪60年代初期,巴基斯坦一改50年代对新中国不冷不热的态度,开始致力于从根本上改善和新中国的外交关系。笔者认为主要原因如下:其一,巴基斯坦和主要陆地邻国——印度、阿富汗的关系长期不和,在20世纪60年代初期尤其紧张;其二,巴基斯坦在和邻国的纷争中得不到当时世界两个超级大国——美国、苏联任何一方的有力支持,在20世纪60年代初期表现得尤其明显;其三,20世纪60年代初期,中苏、中印关系十分紧张,这就为巴基斯坦提供了其认为可以利用的矛盾并借以改善中巴关系的难得契机。

Analysis of Pakistan's Active Promotion of Better Relations between Pakistan and China in the Early 1960s

During the early 1960s,Pakistan changed the lukewarm attitude toward China in the 1950s and actively promoted better relations between Pakistan and China.The author deems that the reasons behind this are: First,discord long existed between Pakistan and the neighboring countries — India and Afghanistan became more intense in the early 1960s;Second,Pakistan could not get any support from either of the two superpowers in the world in the dispute with the neighboring countries and this was more evident in the 1960s;Third,in the early 1960s,the relationship between China and India and China and the Soviet Union was very tense,which enabled Pakistan to use the conflict to improve Pakistan-China relations.
