从语篇变量看高考英语阅读测试的效度

摘    要:阅读是最为重要的一项语言能力。在我国,阅读一直是中学英语教学的重点,在高考英语测试中也是最重要的部分之一。从语篇变量的角度建立了一套高考英语阅读测试的效度验证标准,并用该标准对2009年高考英语重庆卷阅读测试部分进行效度检验。结果表明,高考英语重庆卷阅读测试符合考试大纲和教学大纲的要求,设计科学、合理,知识覆盖全面,考查重点突出,具有较高的内容效度,但同时也存在一些不足。最后,为阅读教学和测试提出了相应的建议。

Abstract:Reading is one of the most important abilities for foreign language learners. It has always been the focus of English classrooms in Chinese middle schools. Also, reading comprehension test is deemed as the most important part in NMET. From the perspective of discourse variables, a series of standards is established to explore the validity of reading comprehension test of NMET. Then it is applied to inspect and verify the validity of reading comprehension test of the 2009 NMET of Chongqing. The results show that the content of the reading comprehension test of Chongqing has met the requirements in both testing syllabus and teaching syllabus. It is well designed and covers all the knowledge which must be tested. Although the test has reached a high content validity, it still needs to be improved. Finally, suggestions for teaching and testing reading are made accordingly.
