| 摘 要： | "邗城"的涵义与江岸无关,而与吴国人对刀剑的神秘崇拜有关,"邗"字乃吴国人特殊钟爱,吴王自称邗王。邗城是吴国在江北的桥头堡,是吴国向北发展的大本营。考古证明吴国的核心地区长期在镇江,直到吴国后期核心地区才东移。邗城在吴国政治军事格局中始终有举足轻重的地位。邗城营建历史比吴王夫差开凿邗沟早很多,关于扬州建城2 500年的结论有待推敲。

| Abstract: | That the ancient city of Yangzhou was named "Han" has nothing to do with its bordering the River of Han.The city name is connected with the sword worship of the ancient State Wu.The character "Han" was adored by the people of State Wu and the king called himself King of Han.The City of Han was the bridgehead of State Wu in Jiangbei and the stronghold from which Wu developed north.Archaeological research shows that the long-term core area of State Wu had been in Zhenjiang and it remained the case until the late years of the State.The City of Han had always held a pivotal position in the political and military structure of the State Wu.The City was built much earlier than the King of Wu,Fuchai,dug the River of Han.Thus,it may not be accurate to say Yangzhou City has a history of 2500 years. |
