| 摘 要： | 笔者曾提出，陶渊明是中国文化的一个符号。古代绘画中大量关于陶渊明的作品，从一个侧面印证了这个论断。现存关于陶渊明的绘画可以分为三大类：第一类取材于他的作品；第二类取材于他的遗闻轶事；第三类是陶渊明的肖像画。考察这些以陶渊明为题材的绘画，可以看到陶渊明在画家心目中的影像，进而探讨陶渊明作为中国文化的一个符号所体现的人生追求和美学理想，以及陶渊明所产生的广泛影响。

| Abstract: | It has been suggested by the author that Tao Yuanming is a symbol of the evidenced by the abundant ancient Chinese paintings on Tao Yuanming.
