The Ways to Improve the Influence of University Journals (Natural Science Edition)

The goal of university journals publishing has decided that university journals are characterized by comprehensiveness and closeness,and some key factors are blocking the development of university journals.Comprehensiveness indicates that the columns of a university journal cover almost all disciplines in this university and closeness means that most of paper authors are students or teachers in this university.Analyzing the difficulties university journals face,the authors point out that it is necessary to improve the influence of university journals for their further development.Traditional conception of publishing should be abandoned and transformed from closeness into openness.The way to improve the influence of university journals is presented in such aspects as attracting high level papers,changing editing work mode and innovating columns.At last,the authors discuss the development modes of university journals: building network platform,open access and publishing in grouping.
