高层管理者的教育背景与公司绩效——基于创业板数据的实证检验

摘    要:利用2009年134家创业板非金融行业上市公司的面板数据,实证检验了上市公司高层管理者的教育背景与公司绩效的关系。研究发现,在创业板上市公司中,董事长的学历背景和专业背景对公司绩效的影响并不确定,但是总经理的学历背景和专业背景对公司绩效会产生显著的正向影响;同时高管团队的总体学历背景对公司绩效会产生显著的正向影响,而且高管团队的海外学习经历也会对公司绩效产生冠著的正向影响。因此,上市公司高管的个人教育背景、高管团队的总体学历背景因影响到其做出的决策而影响公司绩效,在公司发展进程中应引起高度关注。

Abstract:With the industry panel data of the 134 GEM non-financial listed companies in 2009, this paper found that, in the GEM listed companies, the general managers of the academic background and professional background on the company performance will have significantly positive effects; while executives team's overall academic background on the company performance will have significantly positive impact as well and learning experiences of overseas executive team on corporate performance also have a significantly positive effect.
