A Probe into the Major Existing Drawbacks in Governmental Procurement: Analysis and Treatment

So far, no governmental procurement system consistent with international customs has been set up in China, nor is there any open governmental procurement market. This, together with a number of drawbacks in practice, constitutes a serious hindrance for the improvement of the Chinese government's macro|economic controlling functions and China's market system, bringing about a series of concomitant problems like corruption. Therefore, the regulation of governmental procurement market has become an urgent issue for the economic theory circle as well as the concerned departments.
