欧阳修与北宋儒学复兴运动

北宋儒学复兴运动是伴随北宋中期为促进社会改革提供理论依据并同时克服、战胜佛教道教思想,实现儒学创新的思想文化运动.欧阳修适逢其会,在儒学复兴运动中起到开一代风气、引导儒学复兴方向的作用,其贡献主要表现为三个方面:一、高举韩愈古文运动大旗,提倡"文道合一";二、在儒家经典研究方面提倡破除训诂,阐扬义理;三、攘斥佛老,促进儒家人文礼义的复兴.

Ou Yangxiu and the Revival of Confucianism in the North Song Dynasty

The Revival of Confucianism in the North Song Dynasty is an intellectual current of Neo-Confucianism which goes with the social reform at that time and provides a theoretical basis for the reform.It is also a new cultural movement for overcoming Buddhism and Taoism and renovating Confucianism.Ou Yangxiu,born at the time,played an important role in the movement.His contributions lie in three aspects: first,he holds high Han Yu's flag,advocating the combination of literature and Tao;Secondly,he advocates the elaboration of the ideas and truth in ancient texts instead of pure literal commentary on them;last,he is very active in excluding Buddhism and Taoism and promoting the revival of Confucian humanism.
