探讨了我国走新型工业化道路必须依靠科技进步,提高劳动者素质,不断改善经济增长质量的独特内在要求。在此基础上,提出经济发展以信息化带动工业化,以工业化促进信息化,推进产业结构的优化升级,正确处理高新技术产业与传统产业之间的关系,控制人口增长,保护环境,合理开发和利用资源,实现可持续发展。

On the New Road of Industrialization with Chinese Characteristics

It is believed that the realization of the new-model industrialization must depend on scientific and technological progress, the improvement of labor qualities and the upgrading of the quality of economic development. Besides, it is argued that economic development should be achieved by the mutual promotion of industrialization and information industry, the optimization of industrial structures, the proper handling of the relationship between new high-tech industries and traditional industries, the control of population increase, the protection of environment, the proper development and exploitation of resources and the fulfillment of sustainable development.
