编辑学与出版学学科体系之比较

学科是对一种或几种相近专业通过科学研究而建立起来的相对独立的理论知识系统。人类迄今所积累起来的全部科学知识就是一个通过对物质流、能量流、信息流三大现象的研究而建立起来的宏大学科体系。但由于学术研究的分工不同,摆在研究者面前的具体研究对象、研究目的和研究任务不同,而分为相对独立的学科门类。不同的学科门类又各有其自身相对较小的更专门的学科体系。概而言之,学科体系是对科学生态总体结构的系统分类和分层描述。编辑学和出版学,是中国人创立的,极富中国传统文化特色的现代传媒科学。在中国,编辑活动与出版活动具有深厚的历史根源。近代以来,编辑出版业在创造中国传媒文化结构的同时,吸收了西方文化传播过程中编辑与出版的新技术、新媒介、新理念,有更大的进展。编辑学在我国已有较为成熟的学科体系,作为研究创构各种文化媒体母本的普通编辑学已基本形成。而出版学的学科体系在国外形成较早,我国尚处在建设阶段。编辑学和出版学的学科体系建设对于学科的发展和成熟有着重要意义。

A Comparison Between the System of Editology and Publishology

The activities of editing and publishing have a sound historical foundation in China.Editology,with its mature system,has been formed as a general editology which acts as a mother body of studying and constructing kinds of cultural media.While the system of publishology has been formed abroad,it is being constructed in China.Though they have their own theories and methodologies,the two branches of learning,being co-existing and coupling,are forming a scientific system of edit-publishing subject.It is a penetrating and open system with the character of dissipation.It will improve the innovation in editing activities and broaden the marketing of publishing industry.
