| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the spread of Maitrisimit in the Uyghur language, the spread of the music, dance and other varied arts of the Western Region, and the achievements by Uyghur men of letters. This analysis reveals that the plays, music and dance in the Western Region are closely tied up with the formation and development of Chinese plays and have made indelible contributions. |
