在中国古代史学史上 ,清代乾嘉时期形成的历史考证学独树一帜。历史考证学派史家以求真的态度和实证的方法研究历史 ,最显著的特征就是治史的理性意识比前代史家大大深化与增强。考察乾嘉史家理性意识的内涵 ,不仅能够拓宽传统史学研究的层面 ,对于研究中国史学史具有学术价值 ;而且有助于澄清过去研究中的一些模糊观念 ,正确认识与评价乾嘉历史考证学的得失与功过

A Survey of the Rational Consciousness of Textual Historiographer in the Qing Dynasty

In history of Chinese ancient historiography, the textual historiography taking shape in the times of Qian Long and Jia Qing in the Qing Dynasty developed into a school of its own. Textual historiographers studies history in a truth-seeking and positivist manner, the most obvious characteristic of which is the greater rational consciousness of interpreting history than the predecessor historiographers. Examining the connotations of the rational consciousness of the historiographers in the times of Qian Long and Jia Qing, can not only broadens the horizon of traditional historical studies and is of academic value for the studies of Chinese history of historiography but also contributes to clarification of some ambiguous concepts in the past studies and correct understanding and evaluation of the gains and losses and merits and demerits of textual historiography in the times of Qian Long and Jia Qing.
