| 摘 要： | 足用财富思想是中国古代财富思想的重要内容与特性，这是由中国古代社会小农经济的生产方式、重农抑商的经济政策以及封建皇权的政治统治等因素决定的。增殖财富思想是西方古代财富思想的重要内容与特性。它的形成主要有三个原因：财富积累增殖的正义性、民主理念与人文主义的精神动力、城市经济发展与政治稳定的需要。通过对足用财富思想与增殖财富思想的比较可以得出，由于思维方式、经济文化、地缘政治、政治理念的不同，中西古代财富思想特性也是不同的。
