权威方言在语言规范中的地位

共同语的基础方言是权威方言,应当具有双重权威性,即既是权威的地域方言,同时又是权威的社会方言。语言规范应当采用地域方言和社会方言的双重参照,从而形成复合参照系。在现代汉民族共同语的规范中,权威方言的作用是逐渐得到认识的,时至今日,总体来说对权威地域方言的认识比较到位,但对权威社会方言的认识仍显不足。在现代语言规范中,应充分肯定权威社会方言在规范中的地位,并努力培植当今权威社会方言的样本。

The Status of the Authoritative Dialect in Language Standardization

The basic dialect of the common language is the authoritative dialect which should have double-authority: the authoritative geographical dialect and the authoritative social dialect. Language standardization should adopt the compound reference frame which includes double references: geographical dialects and social dialects. In the standardization of the modern Chinese common language, the effect of the authoritative dialect is gradually recognized. To this day, generally speaking, we have a better understanding of the authoritative geographical dialect, but a poor understanding of the authoritative social dialect. In the new century, we should fully affirm the status of the authoritative social dialect in language standardization and try our best to cultivate the sample of the contemporary authoritative social dialect.
