| Abstract: | The ceremony of fishing the tears fish in the short story ShiChuan of ChiZijian has rich and profound implication. The understanding of the ceremony is the key of mastering the story＇s spiritual connotation. This ceremony conveys the author＇s compassion of feelings and caring of beings, and illuminating life with divinity as well as building a poetic world full of fantastic beauty and warmth. |
