| Abstract: | Eastern Han(25-220A.D.)made Luo Yang its capital and regions south of the Yellow River thus became the learning center. Though it waned during Western Jin and Eastern Jin Dynasties(265-420), the scholars who fled from calamities to all corners on both sides of the Yellow River became the major forces in the academic and artistic rejuvenation which followed later. These scholars made outstanding contributions to the cultural and academic exchanges between the north and south regions of the Yellow River. |
